so as i'm sitting here planning this trip out, watching the emmy's, and browsing through the flist and i'm just thinking...
what seems like the best thing to do when it comes to the whole stargate sg-1 thing? half of me wants to be like 'FUCK NO, SG-1 FOREVER.' well, not forever, but...they just started up a new story, you know? at least let them get to a point where they can wrap up the story decently, not just two seasons of dealing with the ori and the occasional gou'ald, aka, Ba'al. one, two more seasons maybe, not just wrapping up this season and what happened to the ori? we deal with them? or what? who knows. so what's up? are they gonna 'eliminate' the ori and the followers of origin before the series finale? or am i just rambling on about all of this?
the other half of me is like 'i love the actors for going this far and i thank them for all of this.' maybe it is time for them to go and let atlantis on it's own, you know? ever think of the possibility that the actors want to go and work on other things. another season of this show, with the contract and all, costs more money for the actors and such. i'm really grateful for the cast and crew who have put up with the fans [not like it's a bad thing] for a decade. that's more than most people in the industry do and it's cool. i'm sure we all know that.
i love that the fans, well, those that are campaigning for the show to continue, are being so together and stuff. polite letters to the networks and such, postcards, bracelets, etc. i applaud you for your efforts.
and eww. i have school tomorrow. blah.
and i am excited. this whole trip better go through cause it would really suck if it didnt.
