(no subject)
-There is probably nothing better than the sound of birds the morning after the first thunderstorm of the year that didn't freeze over
-Bill's brother and sister-in-law had a baby. he is precious. i made him a baby quilt with owl print fabric on one side and woodland animal print on the other
-Bill has still not held the baby because he is sick. I could hold that baby all day long
-spring break is soon which means i have a billion things due next week. CRAP
-i am making paper out of flax and dying it with beet juice in my papermaking class.
-i already made paper out of some sweet plaid fabric i had. i wish i had a picture of this
-our dog has been prescribed doggy prozac. he is a rescue dog who is really cute and sweet... except around people he doesn't know or when he's left alone
-coffee is amazing
-sushi is equally amazing
-mom is basically done with cancer treatments. miraculously, they were able to eliminate the tumor in her esophogas with only chemotherapy and radiation. no surgery!
-we have to move out soon, but there is nowhere we can afford other than apartments, which we can't live in because our dog barks while we are away. or we could live in a house in scary scary north omaha.
-i have the opportunity to go on an archaeological dig in israel this summer in conjunction with my biblical archaeology class. but it costs 3000 dollars which i don't have because..
-i bought a new car finally. it's slightly fancy!
-i'm still writing in a real-live journal although kind of sporadically.
