i need to vent.
last week i offered (well my mom offered) to give my boss a free sign to put out for the holidays. i thought it was quite genourous. so i asked him to kindly give one specific day off so i can go to the city. one day! he said no. he said i can try switching with someone but thats it. i dont understand why he cant work one weekend day ever!
Thats not all. he started to tell me about his new guys. there's three of them. i figured since i will no longer be at the bottom of the totem poll here, i might get some daytime hours, maybe work in new paltz, maybe have a weekend day off. So he said "you, ricky and alex will be working here, and chris will go to new paltz" i said "wait a second, why does this new kid get to go to new paltz???" and he said "hmm...thats true." and then laughed...and walked away. ARe you fuckin kidding me??? I have wanted to work there from the beginning and he said he would put me there when i got used to working alone. i have been in this shithole for 4 months, and this guy who has been training for 3 days gets there before me!!
its total bullshit. and i bet when the new schedule comes out, the other 2 new guys are gonna get the hours i want too.
i hate him. with a firey fucking passion.
i did get a call last night for a job that i applied for. its a personal assistant/office manager for a small marketing company in pine bush. the owner is a writer, internet designer, and markets for all sorts of entertainment, including music. he seemed to really like me over the phone...but his office isnt open yet. he is moving up from NJ and it might be a few weeks or more before he gets started. I really hope its not too long... i need to get out of here before i go crazy. like the type of crazy where i want to blow up my boss' car.
