Joe Gallian Rocks my world
So tomarrow at 3:30 Joe Gallian will be speaking at Carleton. I cannot even begin to convey how cool this is. This is one of the best math *speakers* in the world, and I'm going to get to listen to him! This is almost as cool as when Conway came (because let's face it, it's hard to be cooler than Conway)!
Because he is just that cool, I'm considering bringing my Abstract Algebra book to the talk and asking him to sign it. But it's occurred to me that he might be uncomfortable with that. So I figured I'd put it up for a poll!
