In other news, I'm playing Final Fantasy VII (ze original) on the PSP. I just bought it from the Playstation Network a few days ago. I'm a little annoyed that there seems to be a bug of some sort that disabled one NPC encounter. Remember the Don Corneo mini-game where Cloud has to collect all of these special "How To Make Cloud A Really Pretty Girl" stuff to make the Don choose him? There was an NPC stuck in the bathroom that you had to give the medicine to so she'd give you a perfume (I think). Now, for some reason, when I was about to do just that the NPC wasn't there and was replaced by the guy who was previously in front of the bathroom, doing the Pee DanceTM. Not only was I unable to get the perfume, it also rendered the remaining goals unattainable. The hell. ._. I really wanted Ms. Cloudette to have some quality time with the Don. XD
You know, replaying this game made me realise that I really do miss the "old school-ness" of it all. It also made me realise that I spent a LOT of time with this game when I played it more than a decade ago, maximising everything and all. I don't know if I could do same thing -- maybe I'd just maximise one character to Level 99, maybe two or three more characters if I'm especially dedicated. But all of them? I dunno. It just seems like a waste of time now. XD
