Ok, ok, a little crazy, but everyone is I guess.
I have no idea what was going on, but I was just kind of a mess today.
I've been having nightmares pretty much every night for a few weeks now. They range from truly frightening to rather absurd. Last night I had two I recall. One of them I was a coroner identifying about a dozen or so people who drowned, which was all fine and dandy until they started getting back up and staring at me. The other one had me walking down a dark road at night and meeting increasingly weird people. The big scary monster at the end was a girl I used to date. I ended up running the other way and escaping through a very small window into a brightly lit field of wild flowers. Very strange.
I've had stress in other fields like work, making sure my potato is alright, trying to get art done, and just life in general.
I think it came to a head today. Work was... mildly annoying overall. Sometime before my lunch I just started losing my shit. My pulse went crazy, I got dizzy, and my breathing was odd. There wasn't a lot of physical goings on, but my emotional brainmeats were like "OH GOD SOMETHING IS WRONG WHAT THE FUCK WHAT IS GOING ON YOU SHOULD GO HOME AGGGGH!" and I just told it to shut up and man'ed up and stuff.
I'm really happy one of my 'regulars' came in. He's.. awesome. Really nice guy -- I'd say he's about the closest to a saint I've met. He's got two doctorates in big crunchy sciences and some other degree, and he's retired at 45. He spends his time doing volunteer work and throwing really nice parties for his friends. I'd say that he showed up at the best time possible.
Anyways, I'm happy I'm home. My potato made me dinner and gave me snuggles. I should go be a nice panda and cuddle with her now.
You guys have a good one.
