The Final ....................days
Sooooo last weekend we went to Tottori! It's the prefecture to the north of hyogo on the other coast of Japan. It was a pretty hick place, but why did we go there?
Because they have DESERT!
.....well sort of.
They have these GIANT sand dunes. Like REALLY GIANT SAND DUNES. So we went and we got to climb all over them and such. They angle straight up, so actually when you think about it later, it could have been really neck breakingly dangerous. We had planned to go swimming too, BUT that was the ONE day it decided to be COLD in July. Yeah, we were to cold to even think about it, especially since no one really dressed properly for that kind of temperture. All the days leading up to it were HOT. Just like now, it's HOT.
I wake up every morning hearing the cicadas loud singing.
This is Japan afterall.
There were camels to, on the sanddunes.
It was fun though.
Today I plan to send my last two boxes, I just hope the one with all my books isn't too heavy....I can barely lift the thing. I'm sending it by boat though.
I've brought out my suitcase and have started packing and organizing and throwing away stuff. I then realized I need to go out and buy another bag. Probably just a good sized duffel bag will do it.
Got a message from Crono lastnight.
He wants to see me off at the airport!
I feel all fuzzy inside now~.
