Several of the guys and I went out and about. We visited around 5 malls and just goofed off for a bit. I checked out the stuff I wanted to see. Posted some pics of fabrics for the wife and friends to look at.

You don’t really understand the USA’s impact on other countries until you are abroad during a US Presidential Election. The people over here seem to be following the election much more closely than I ever have.
At this point I am pretty much completely acclimated to India in terms of surroundings, sights, sounds, and smells. India is quite the charming place if you know how to handle it. They have some very good restaurants in places you wouldn’t expect. I had lunch the past two days in the middle of very small business strip malls as we would call them.
This evening I went with a friend to a couple of wholesale fabric sellers. I found some very nice prices on silk, raw silk, and brocades. I will be posting them in the morning.

Some coworkers and I went to the Delhi Red Fort and then to a market. The Red Fort had some awesome views and you should go check out the photos from that trip. The shopping was ok, it reminded me of shopping at merchant’s row at Estrella War. Lots of fabric, wood working, and the like. We then decided to hit a nice Italian restaurant in the Hyatt which was awesome.
