Tsuna sighed, staring at the algorithm on the board, copying it down again and again until it was ingrained in his mind. It would help him later on, he had learned back in middle school, but he was sure he was still going to get every answer on his test wrong. Finally, the bell announcing lunch rang and he folded open his pack, shoving his notebooks in as he took a deep breath, pushing the thought of his next failure out of his mind.
Tsuna looked up in time to see the new student-a boy he had found to get along with really well-walk over. His face was tinted a light pink color and he kept biting his lip, making his already pink lips slightly pinker. His black hair fell into his green eyes, set off with red inflamed mounds on his forehead that he was obviously trying hard to hide as he nervously held his elbows, took his palms off and wrung them together a few times before he returned to his elbows again. “Ts-Tsuna-kun… can I… can I ask you something? A-Alone?”
Tsuna glanced at the back of the room where Gokudera was arguing with Takeshi and Ryohei-who had snuck in when he wasn’t looking. Tsuna nodded and asked him to wait a second before he went up to Takeshi and muttered in his ear that he would be right back and if Gokudera asked where he was not to worry. Takeshi nodded and told him to hurry back, to which he nodded, and he turned back to Niosawa Haru.
Haru took him to the roof, where the other man did an extensive search of the premise before he sighed and bit his lip again, rubbing the back of his neck. Tsuna looked at him, worried. “Are you ok, Haru?” He asked. Haru nodded slowly and blushed had as he opened his mouth to say something and closed it again.
“Ok, ok,” he finally stumbled over his words, taking a few more deep breaths before he fixed his eyes on his feet. “I- I don’t think I’ll be able to start talking after this if you interrupt so just let me get everything out first ok? Then questions! So- so, ok, right?”
“Ok….”
“Ummo…. I-I want a boyfriend.”-Tsuna’s spine straightened as he stared at the man before him in shock; was he coming onto him?-“And, and, I mean, I know you’re bi or gay or something but you’re not just straight and- and so I was…. There’s this thing on Friday night, where a bunch of non-straight people are going- going to get together. And, and they’re all our age and- and a little older bu-but not much, y’know? And- and I just I- I just can’t go alone and-and I think it’ll be really fun and-and all and- I was, um, I was wondering if- if you would come with me-at least, to get me through the door. I’m- I’m not coming onto you or- or anything but- um… would you? I mean, go to the place with me?”
“Ummo… what kind of thing is it?” Well, if he’s not coming onto me, I- I guess I could go? But… how did he know? I mean, kaa-san doesn’t even know. Gokudera-kun doesn’t even know. I- I’m not sure… I’m not sure I’m ready to come out yet….
“Um… it’s like a bar, but no drinks so a club? Nothing there has alcohol and a friend of mine that’s gone before says that the bouncers check everyone for alcohol before they go in, so that we can’t be spiked since there was a lawsuit not long ago about that.”
“What… what kind of people are there?”
“People between sixteen and nineteen for this ‘session’ that I want to go to. They come from only a few miles around so they’d mostly be from the other side of the city since, well, that’s where the club’s at and all so I don’t think anyone would recognize us. But it doesn’t really matter since we’re given masks at the door or we can wear masks and stuff….”
“Let me ask my mom,” Tsuna found himself saying before he could realize it. “I mean, it’s a school night and all so if she doesn’t want me to do anything, I can go. I’ll call you if I can’t though.”
Haru’s spine straightened as his eyes lit up, widening. “R-Really? You’re serious?”
“Just, um… d-don’t mention anything about it around people I know be-because I’m- I’m not really….”
“You’re not ready to come out?” Haru chuckled a little as Tsuna nodded, feeling the harsh burn in his cheekbones. “That’s ok. Neither am I.”
“Ok…. C-C’mon, I better get my lunch from my locker before Gokudera-kun gets worried.”

Tsuna stared at himself in the large mirror that was mounted on his closet door early Friday evening. It was late enough so that they had barely finished supper and that Reborn was asleep, soundly, on his bed, but early enough that he could see the faint glimmer of the sunset in his window. He had slicked his hair down a little, only to find that it didn’t work all too well and just ended up with two or three of his usual spikes molded together in some places to make them pointier but nothing more. His shirt was plain black with the logo for An Café, a J-Rock band he sometimes listened to. His pants weren’t much better, being black, too. They made his skin look pale and his eyes unusually bright and large, but not so much that it was scary-just… exotic. Like they had always been, but a little more so now.
Downstairs, he heard his mom call his name and crept over to his bedside table, careful not to wake the hitman on his bed as he grabbed his wallet and his phone, slipping them both into his pockets and chaining the former to his pant loop with a thin, bright silver chain.
He slipped out of his room silently, shutting off his light as he twisted the handle on the door, only twisting it back after it had pressed into the jam. He took the steps three at a time, stumbling only twice, even though he managed to grab onto the banister before he fell down completely.
“Hey, Tsuna-kun!” Haru greeted when he got down there. He wasn’t looking much different than him, except that his hair had actually stayed down when he had tried to gel it so that it hid all the pimples on the edges of his forehead and his shirt was a skin-tight under-armor shirt instead of a band shirt. “You ready to go?”
“Yeah,” he nodded, smiling as he turned to his mom. “I have my phone with me, but you know how forgetful I am. Yamamoto-kun knows where I’ll be if it’s a really big emergency and I’m not answering.”
“Ok,” she giggled as she walked forward and wrapped her arms around his shoulders. “Have fun, Tsu-kun. Check in with me every now and then though, ok?”
“I will” he promised as he and Haru left. They had to walk down three small, residential streets and two main streets before they got to the bus stop that would take them to the trolley, but they managed to make it to both on time, both of them using their year-long passes so that they wouldn’t have to spend too much money in one night. After getting off the trolley it was a good seven minute walk to the alleyway before Haru turned and handed him a flyer with a nervous smile. He returned it with the same nervousness as they followed down the alley until they came to a doorway that was a little under the gravel so that they had to take three steps down to find the bouncer lightly shifting from one foot to the other to the beat that they could feel in the ground inside.
He looked up at them and the two of them blushed lightly as Haru handed over his flier wordlessly. The guy was big; had to be 6’2’’-kind-of-ginormous with muscles the size of Tsuna’s head (without the hair). His muscles rippled under his sleeveless black skin-tight shirt as he took the flier from him and motioned for Tsuna’s. He handed it over after a moment of hesitation and the two of them stood there, looking awkward as they glanced behind them to make sure no one was looking.
“You two are first-timers, huh?” The guy’s voice was unusually pleasant as he smiled at the two of them. He didn’t wait for them to say anything-though they did nod hesitantly-before he continued on, “I remember my first time going. You know, I met my boyfriend in one of those. He’s inside bouncing for the bar, so you can’t meet him, but maybe when you’re old enough. Say, how old are you two?”
“Si-Sixteen,” Tsuna stuttered as he pulled out his wallet and showed him his motorcycle permit. The bouncer nodded as he put it away and Haru did the same.
“Sorry about this,” he said with another grin, “but I gotta have you both spread your arms. No alcohol for where you’re going and all.” The two of them nodded and did so, letting him pat them down for the moment. Tsuna jumped and squealed a little when he patted his sides and his pockets, pulling out his mittens from his back pocket and looking at them confused before he handed them back with a shrug and a “to each their own”. Tsuna shoved the gloves into his pocket again as he searched Haru and came up empty. “Alright, head left immediately and follow the path around until you get to a corner. Take it and pick up a mask before you step in. And don’t forget, if you get too far into it, you’re of legal age. Use a bedroom back there. They aren’t hard to find.”
Both blushing furiously, they nodded quickly and walked inside when he unlocked the door, following his orders.
With the masquerade eye masks fixed securely on their faces, they stepped into the room. It was dark enough so that they could only see their hands in front of their faces when the strobe lights on the ceiling had flashed from red to blue to green, yellow, purple and back to red again. He looked at Haru and grinned when he realized that he hardly recognized the other man right next to him and knew the same would be true for himself and everyone around them. He really didn’t need to worry half as much as he did; no one would ever know he was there.
“S-So,” he nearly yelled, making sure he was heard through the thumping music he felt in his chest, vibrating along with his heart and making his head feel fuzzy-he took a note to take some aspirin when no one was looking when he got home so that he wouldn’t wake up with a headache. “Um… drinks?”
The two of them ended up staying far in the back, sipping on their unspiked punch through the entirety of the night, watching the other club goers dancing, flirting and feeling all around comfortable, even as they giggled at their friends making out with people of the same sex-something that Haru and Tsuna were both afraid the opposite of would happen when they both came out officially. Spontaneously through the night, some of the other punch drinkers stopped by and flirted a little-something Tsuna hadn’t realized was so easy, let alone fun and natural.
Though they never got out on the dance floor, Haru and Tsuna both agreed that they had had a lot of fun as they left, laughing as they took off their masks. Though Haru pitched his, Tsuna bent the felt on the nose and tucked the plastic strap in before shoving it in his pocket as a memento of the first night he had gone here-because he definitely wanted to come back, though he wasn’t sure if he’d be able to do it alone.
Tsuna dialed his mom when they stepped out into the dark night, made darker by the rain they hadn’t realized had started while they were in there, let alone noticed the clouds that had drifted through on their way there. When she picked up, he explained how, since he was closer, he would go to Haru’s until it either let up or, if he fell asleep, the morning and that it was ok with Haru’s mom (since he didn’t live with his parents, though Nana thought he did) if he went there and that he loved her and had lots of fun hanging out with him.

Two weeks later, Haru turned back to Tsuna as lunch started and they headed down to their lockers to get their bentos, handing him a bright orange and yellow flier. Tsuna recognized it instantly and looked on it for the date. “Hey, it’s next week,” Tsuna giggled lightly as he opened his locker and pushed the flier inside, hiding it between his books so that he could see it but no one else could and he could explain easily why he had an orange flier in his locker as something a sensei had passed to him.
Haru grinned at this and chuckled, “I take it you want to go?”
“I had a lot of fun last time,” he pointed out as he pulled out his mathematics book from his bag and put it in his locker, pulling out a couple of his afternoon books and put them in his bag so that he wouldn’t have to race back down in the two minutes he would have to get his book if he otherwise left it-most of the time, when that happened, Murray’s Law hated him and he could never get back in time. “So, I’ll see if kaa-san needs me and all. How do you find out about these, anyway?”
“A friend of mine works for the family that owns the place.” He explained, “and he always gives me a heads-up when something like this is going to happen, but it wasn’t until I came to Namimori High that I found someone I could go with. They have the flier order-forms on their website, you just have to know where to click, y’know? You order it and within the next ten-or-so minutes, you usually have it, though I grab mine in the morning on my way to school since I normally check the mail then.”
“That club’s family-owned?” Tsuna blinked, startled. He hadn’t seen many family-owned things that were that extensive. The most extensive he had ever seen was Yamamoto’s father’s sushimi restaurant-and even then, that wasn’t very extensive to say the least. “I would never have guessed!”
“I know, right?” Haru laughed as they turned and walked up the staircase back towards their 16-D classroom. “He’s always going on and on about how it’s family owned, but he uses a different word, y’know? Like, it’s a family but they aren’t necessarily blood related. I don’t know.” He suddenly burst into a chorus of laughter, tears bundling in his eyes as they got to their floor and started toward the back of the hallway. “What if he actually meant it was owned by, like, yakuza or mafiosos! That’s hilarious!”
Tsuna laughed with him as they walked back into the classroom and sat down near Yamamoto and Gokudera, joining in just in time to gather that Gokudera was mad that he was skipping out on him for something they had planned for baseball. The argument wasn’t a new one and the two shy boys stayed out of it long enough to open their bentos and start eating. Tsuna also handed Gokudera and Yamamoto the bentos that Nana had packed for them, too.

Tsuna slipped the flier, his wallet and his phone into his pants along with his key (which he had recently rescued from an avalanche his closet had decided to have a few days ago) and walked down stairs like he had three weeks ago, this time smiling and waving goodbye to his mom as he jumped out the door and headed to the bus stop so that he could pick the other man up and go to the club.
This time, as they stood around, still getting used to the flirting, they turned to each other and, hesitantly, put their empty drink cups down. Slowly, they picked their way across the floor until with every millisecond it blasted, the music reverberated through his their chests and made their minds go numb. The dancing was slow and clumsy at first, but they were quickly rescued by a group of girls who all giggled at them and began to show them how to move on the dance floor; how to swing their hips, grind them, move their arms-everything-until they were doing just fine on their own and the girls disappeared to do the same in the mindless crowd around them.
Tsuna chuckled lightly, this time, as they came out and decided they’d spend the night at Tsuna’s place. The masks became the same as the ones they had had before, slipping both into the trash can and into a warm pocket as a chill settled in on them.

Tsuna nibbled on his lip a little as he opened up the club’s main page and scrolled to the bottom, clicking on the delivery service. Up popped ‘recipes’ (for what, he didn’t want to know), ‘strobe lights’, ‘glow sticks’ and twelve other words he didn’t recognize and hoped he would never become such a club regular that he would, finally ending with ‘Young Adults Fliers’. He clicked on that link and scrolled to the bottom again, clicking on the lower left hand icon in the only row of 6 icons while the other fourteen rows had eight. It was of a small bathroom door-like figure holding hands with another male bathroom-door-figure, holding hands with a woman, who was with a woman, the four of them representing homo sexuality, bi-sexuality and heterosexuality.
He looked through the dates and found one was being held every night of the week in two week’s time, which made him hum and pick the Friday one, making sure the times were right so that Haru would be off of work and they’d be able to go together. He ordered two and hurried downstairs after clicking out of the window, stuttering out that he had forgotten to check the mail to his mom as he put fifteen hundred Yen into the box while picking up the mail (which, sadly, was all junk even though he was expecting a postcard from his dad).
~5927~
Haru smiled as they walked into the club and hit their usual spots in the back of the room, taking their drinks as they got used to the rumbling in their chests. After their cups were discarded, they took a deep breath and jumped into the crowd, melding in with all the other bodies there as they danced.
Tsuna felt the eyes on his back immediately before he noticed that somehow Haru had ended up dancing with a guy across the dance floor. The eyes burned into his back and watched with every swing he ground into, even as he pulled his hair out from under the mask and let it flow out to hide the birthmark he had on the back of his neck so whoever it was wouldn’t identify him later. A warm body pressed every inch of him into his back, letting Tsuna feel where his abs were sculpted and his belt was slung low on his legs, probably to let the back of his boxers show. Over his shoulder, he could make out lightly tanned skin under a white shirt that made it look even darker.
His hands came around to rest on Tsuna’s hips as they both danced to the song. Biting his lip, the probably-younger man continued on, catching his right hand in his as it moved down and started to caress his outer thigh. He held it off of him but, smiling slowly, he continued to dance, not allowing the other man to have his hand back as he instead held it in front of him.
He heard a deep, breathy laugh in his ear as he moved back, startling him as he spun around, keeping his hand behind his back as he looked up at him. His hair was so blond that it reflected the same color that the strobe lights were, flashing a single color for a second before it flashed to the next and the next. His eyes, however hidden beneath the masquerade mask, shown through with a thick, beautiful light blue so clear and free that it took his breath away.
The man staring down at him smirked as if he knew the feeling and leaned forward so he could just barely hear the husky voice whisper against the shell of his ear “Come here often?”
It felt incredibly cliché that he said it, but the blush that hid itself beneath Tsuna’s mask was thick, warm and, somehow, welcome as he stepped closer and threw his arms around the man’s neck, continuing with the hard dancing he had been doing earlier-even as the other man planted his hands firmly on his hips, smirked, and did the same thing right back. Instead of answering, he spoke normally into the man’s ear, knowing it would sound like a whisper compared to the rest of the room. “Can’t say I’ve seen you around since I started coming.”
“Haven’t been in a while,” he replied, grinding in a way that made Tsuna’s eyes shut and his face heat up as his breathing hitched. Once the rush stopped, he laughed and twisted his hips back, watching those sky blue eyes flutter shut as his nostrils flared.
To their side, someone elbowed them as they flopped out of the crowd and disappeared around the bend, probably in the direction of the one place that Tsuna hadn’t yet explored of the place: the bedrooms. But even though where the girl had struck him in the ribs hurt, he didn’t feel like he should be on guard like he otherwise would have. He felt safe and relaxed-even as he ground against this complete and utter stranger…. Maybe “relaxed” wasn’t the right word….
“Looks to me you haven’t been around anything in a while,” Tsuna teased back, relieved that he knew the other man would never see him again after this and would never know that he would have ever said that.
“And you’re so much better,” he returned, nipping lightly on the shell of his ear. Tsuna’s eyes closed instinctively and his hips made a hard twitch forward, making the other man twitch against him as a moan traveled through the man’s teeth and into his skin. He pushed him back after a while and, gasping a little more, he pressed his lips to the stranger’s, pushing more into it as he pushed back.
It wasn’t anything like he had always thought a kiss to be-let alone his first one. He had always thought that they were filled with clumsy lips and nervous flutterings in stomachs as the kissers held onto each other to keep the other from seeing their shaking hands. But, no-a fire lit in his stomach, shooting straight for his groin as a suffocating pressure hit his lips that he wanted more and more of, even to the point where he was clawing at the neck before him, forcing himself to be given more and more until the other man’s jaw dropped and a warm and wet tongue pressed onto his lips, working its way into his lips within a matter of a few milliseconds.
When they finally broke apart, faces flushed and panting hard, the man over him grinned nervously as he panted out “we aren’t going to be able to continue dancing, are we?”
He blinked, taking in the words for a moment before he nodded and grinned, his stomach churning and clutching harshly as it fought against the sudden lack of friction. He let the man drag him, drunkenly, into the back of the dance floor, through the back of the hallway and into a line of doors, half of which were open and others slammed shut. Before his mind could really process what was happening, he had shoved his tongue into the back of his throat again and his was in the back of the other man’s. The sound of a door shutting reverberated through his mind as he fell back onto a bed, his wrists pinned to either side of his head as the mouth left his, leaving a trail of saliva down his chin as he hungrily attacked his neck.
Tsuna’s back arched off the bed as his jaw dropped, panting out hard. Two hands slipped under his shirt, pressing into his abs as they dragged up. It dawned on him then: they were going to…. Here? Now? He didn’t even know the guy! Was he seme or uke? Wha- wha- was he even ready?!
He opened his mouth to voice his concerns when the man below him suddenly had his shirt off and was playing with his nipples. His breathing hitched and he lost all trains of thoughts he may or may not have had were thrown out the side of his head, over the bed and crashed into the wall, crumbling into pieces so small he would never get them together again.
He lifted his arms, biting his lip to hide his moan as he hooked his thumbs under the skin tight shirt, pulling it off in one go so that his mask had only risen up a hair’s breadth, letting him see more of that creamy skin before it snapped back into place. His chest was scarred and had a Mediterranean flare to it, which was probably what prompted him to pull his neck away from him the mouth and lean down, licking the sweet sweat from his neck and follow it down, tasting the skin.
The man over him moaned as he scraped the bud between his teeth, pinching the other one as a hand cupped his groin, deftly undoing his zipper with his first two fingers and a quick tug ridding the button of the hole. He wiggled his hips, lifting them up as the man took off his pants and his underwear in one go.
He returned the motion almost instantly, too intent on the groans emitting from the man over him to be nervous.
And man was he gorgeous. A curse slipped past his lips as he laid back and stared, admiring the look. There were twitches in the muscles over him, obvious movements that meant that he was feeling awkward under (above) the admiration. The blond caught his jaw and leaned his head down so fast that a tongue was down his throat before he had the chance to feel his hand on his jaw. There was a harsh clutter, the sound of something hitting the ground and possibly breaking and a final “ah-hah!” before he could gasp in again and teeth met the junction between his neck and his collarbone, clamping down as he moaned, thrusting his hips up.
He laughed against his skin as something cold pressed against his anus, making him shiver at the sudden difference. The finger pushed in, making him knit his brow together as he twisted around. “Shh,” he whispered into his ear, “relax, relax.”
He took deep breaths and forced it on himself, his head flying back as a second finger dipped in and they swirled around, massaging his muscles. His toes curled on the bedspread as he bit his lip and a third finger pressed in, scissoring. And “oh, oh don’t- ah- more- ah- ah-“ he couldn’t think straight as his eyes went cross and he saw white where his eyelids had once been black.
Before he could process what had happened or how long that had been happening, he felt something larger-much larger-steal his breath away as he arched his back, pushing his weight onto his elbows. Teeth clamped down on his shoulder and he thrust his hips, locking his ankles behind the man’s back. He thrust into him, hard, pulling a long moan out of Tsuna as he moved back.
They fell into a rhythm quickly, hard thrusts making stars appear in Tsuna’s eyes until he came, shouting into his gritted teeth as he felt something warm, sticky and wet inside of him.
He collapsed on top of him, the both of them panting hard. Just as it started to hurt, lying there with the other man still inside him, he pulled out and straightened Tsuna’s legs for him, flopping out next to him and shutting his eyes. Tsuna laid there and waited, watching his breathing and feeling his heartbeat in his wrist under the vibrations from the dance floor. They both eased out within a few minutes and Tsuna let himself reach over and take the mask of a rainbow of colors pulled up over his left eye.
Blond hair shimmered out in the light so that now that he looked, it seemed almost too light to be blond-almost silver, actually…. His heart started in his chest as he rolled onto his knee, staring down at the person under him. Because- because- because there was no way that he had just had sex-had his first time-with this man! No fucking way! “Gokudera-kun!?”
Eyes so light they barely reflected any color but silver-green flashed open as he tore the mask from his own face. Gokudera started, staring at him wide-eyed. “Jy-Juudaime?”
“What are you doing here? Me? I was dancing! What do you mean, dancing? You were totally flirting!”
The two of them clamped their lips together and Tsuna leaned back onto his heels, putting his hands between his legs to hide himself. Gokudera, however, just moved to balance on one elbow, kicking his opposite leg up to give him an even better look than before. Fuck, he was still gorgeous.
He shook the thought form his mind semi-forcibly. “S-… G-Gokudera…. Y-You know about th-these things?”
“Ah- um… uh, yeah,” Gokudera nodded slowly. “Um… H-How do you?”
“Ha-Haru asked me to come with him so that he wouldn’t have to go alone a few weeks ago and- and I-I really l-liked it and- and, I mean, no one would know m-me and I-I’d be able to- to experiment wi-without anyone at school labeling Dame-Dame-Tsuna as a homo and calling me something else.”
“Th-Then why didn’t you tell us? I mean, we’re your famiglia, we wouldn’t have made fun of you. We wouldn’t have cared.”
“If- If I came out- out to you all then I… I would have to admit it to myself… and if I did that… then… then I’d be even more different th-than everyone else. A-At least if I was ex-experimenting then- then I had a chance of being normal again….”
“Homosexuality is just as normal as hetero,” Gokudera defended.
“Th-That’s not how I meant it.” He muttered. “I- um… yeah. I didn’t mean it like that, Gokudera-kun, really.”
“I- I think I know how you mean.”
“How- How do you know about these things?”
“I was walking around outside one night, being bored, y’know? And- and this is before I met you of course- and anyway a guy came out and we started talking and he invited me to the next one he went to thinking that I had been there, too and, well, we started going together, even though we technically weren’t supposed to. After a few weeks, I realized it was…. It was Yamamoto. We haven’t come in a while and- and he almost bailed on me, but it turned out baseball practice was canceled because of the rain earlier. So… we came. And you were on the dance floor, but I didn’t know it was you and I thought… I thought that… um….” Gokudera swallowed nervously as he sat up correctly, situating himself until he was hidden just as well as Tsuna had hid himself. “I thought that you were really handsome and that you were really good at dancing. And then this led to that and then… um…. Wa-Wait… th-that I means… I… with Juudaime…?”
Tsuna felt his face flush the same time that Gokudera’s did, only his face felt as if it had been attacked by an angry ice cube when he clapped his hand over his mouth, watching with widened eyes as Gokudera’s face turned cryptic, his cheeks losing that red coloring instantly. Within a few seconds, his eyes widened and he looked to the bedding not far from Tsuna’s foot with his disappointed eyes. “I- I understand if- if you never want to- to talk with me agai-!”
“My nose hurts,” he cut him off, not wanting to hear what he thought the other would say. When he finished saying that, he lowered his hand and watched as more of that dark red coloring dripped into his palm. Gokudera gasped and he heard the bed squeak as the man looked around before he felt a couple of tissues forced into his hand and another pressed to his nose. He looked up after a moment and met Gokudera’s eyes. “I- I’m really happy.” He admitted, quietly. “Relieved, too. I- for a moment there, I thought that I… I had just had sex with someone that probably had some sort of disease that I would never see again and I was really scared. When I saw Gokudera-kun instead, everything made sense again and I didn’t care, even if you were secretly walking around with an STD. But…. At least I would see you again, and I wouldn’t feel really bad for… for just giving my first time up to some random guy.”
“It… was your first time?” Gokudera asked, slowly, cautiously, blinking his eyes as if he was honored but unsure of how to take that honor.
“Y-Yeah…. But… but it obviously wasn’t yours.”
“It was my first time with someone I… I would like something more with, if that’s any consolation,” Gokudera muttered as he rested the tissue from his face in his hand and grabbed another one, pressing it to his nose. “And I never would have guessed it was your first time. You didn’t stutter or falter at all. I feel like such a girl with my first time compared to yours.”
“I-It couldn’t have been all that bad, could it have been?”
“I made the guy wear a condom because I didn’t want to get pregnant,” the man deadpanned.
Tsuna tried, he really did, but he still giggled a little as he took Gokudera’s wrist from his face and leaned forward, pressing his lips to his cheek. He was a little relieved when he saw that no blood was left there, either. “I… feel a little better now,” he smiled. “I think it’s cute that you were scared enough about that that you actually voiced it, though. Something I think is totally suited for you.”
Gokudera, although embarrassed, smiled back at him and rubbed his finger on his upper lip, probably making any dried blood flake off. “H-Hey, Jyuudaime, how about… how about we shower off and I… I take you out to dinner?”
“On one condition,” Tsuna nodded, waiting for his Right-Hand Man-to-be to nod back at him. “You call me ‘Tsuna’-at least, when we’re alone, ok?”
Gokudera deflated and looked to think it over for a while. Finally, he nodded and smiled as he said, “alright, I agree Jyuudaim- ah, Tsuna-kun. But you have to call me Hayato.”
“Ok,” Tsuna nodded as he stood up and stretched his leg, feeling weird when he still felt some of Gokudera trailing down the inside of his thigh. “I’m going to take a shower in there,” he bit his lip and blushed, looking to the side as he asked “Are you coming, too?”
“Huh? Ah- uh, mm,” he nodded. They both walked across the room and Tsuna turned the shower on, noticing it was one of the ones without the wall so that it drained in the middle of the room.
As they walked out of the club, Tsuna pulled his phone out and scrolled through until he found Haru’s number. He told him that he left early since he had a date and that he was fine-he knew who it was personally and that if anything happened he’d call. After he’d sent the text, he noticed that Gokudera had done the same thing (though, knowing him, with a lot more cursing). “Where do you want to eat, Tsuna-kun?”
“I don’t know,” he admitted as they walked out onto the street and turned right. “I don’t really know many places around here. Wow, it’s really late,” he added when he shivered. Gokudera chuckled and pulled him over, wrapping his arm around him and pulling him into his chest and keeping him warm. “Th-Thanks.”
“I know this really good Italian place not too far,” he admitted, blushing a little bit when Tsuna looked up at him. “Sounds good,” he admitted as they turned another corner. “I don’t eat a lot of Italian though, so you’ll have to recommend something to me.”
“Sure,” Gokudera nodded a little. “But I think we switched shirts.” Tsuna blinked and looked down. Sure enough, he could see where his muscled abs-though he didn’t have a six-pack-were sculpted against Gokudera’s white, skin-tight shirt.
“You waited for us to get out of the club to tell me that, didn’t you?” He accused, jokingly, before he tilted his head up and kissed his jaw. Gokudera blushed, but kissed his temple nonetheless.
“No, but I think I should have.”
Tsuna laughed as he snuggled his head into the man’s chest. It wasn’t often that he got a happy ending, but he’d take this one any day.
Except maybe those days where Gokudera scared him with his loyalty…. Maybe they’d have to talk about that later.

Haru walked up to Tsuna and arched his brow as the latter finished stuffing his latest test into his bag-another zero, but he wasn’t going to tell anyone that. “So?” He asked, cocking his hip a little and tilted his head to the side. As he did so, a little purple mark slipped out from underneath his uniform.
“So what, Haru-kun?” He replied back, blinking innocently.
“So, how did your date go?” He asked, leaning over the desk and bracing his palms on it. He pulled back, making sure that their faces were at least a few inches apart. “You totally left me hanging from the beginning!”
“How- How was your day?” He returned, nearly choking on his tongue in the process.
“What do you mean?”
“You have a hickey, so something happened, right?”
“I do not have a hickey!” The man snapped as he clapped his hand on his neck, covering the purple mark as his blush betrayed him.
“Yes you do. It’s right there,” he poked his hand with a small smile. Haru blushed harder and narrowed his eyes.
“Yeah, well, at least I didn’t tell you about my having a date and then left out all the details!”
“You went on a date?” He pressed. “With who?”
“Who did you go on your date with?”
“You’re mean.” He whined, slipping a little lower in his desk chair. Gokudera’s voice came up to them over his ear and he looked to watch as they walked over. “Jyuudaime, is something wrong?”
“N-Nothing’s wrong, Gokudera-kun,” he stuttered as he stood up, putting his pack over his shoulder. “Haru-kun just wants to know what happened on my date.”
“You went on a date, Tsuna?” Yamamoto asked, his eyebrows lifting. “I always thought you wouldn’t like normal dates. Who did you go with?”
“N-Not you, too, Yamamoto,” he whined, clutching the strap of his satchel as they headed out of the room. When the other man nodded, Tsuna puffed out his cheeks and made his decision. “Fine, I’ll tell you about mine when you tell me about yours, Haru.”
“But- Wha- this isn’t a game of ‘if you show me yours, I’ll show you mine’, Tsuna!”
Tsuna puffed out his cheeks as they walked down the stairs and made their way to their lockers. Tsuna handed Yamamoto and Gokudera the bentos his mom had made for them and grabbed his own while Haru dug around in his and finally found the small box he had been looking for.
“Where do you want to eat, Jyuudaime?” Gokudera asked.
“Ah… Ryohei wants to eat with us today, right? So, let’s go to the roof? If that’s alright….”
The four of them made their way to the roof and sat down in a small corner. Within a few moments, Tsuna shivered at the cold winds that kept blowing straight into him. Gokudera took off his jacket and put it on his shoulders when he noticed, for which Tsuna thanked him for and pulled his arms through the sleeves. Haru narrowed his eyes and nodded his head. “Gokudera-kun! Gokudera, how was your date with Tsuna?”
“N-Nani?!” Gokudera sat ramrod straight as the two of them flushed crimson red.
“How was your date with Tsuna?”
“It was better than your date with the Baseball idiot!” Gokudera narrowed his eyes, snapping it as he settled into his defense mode.
“You and Yamamoto went on a date!” Tsuna yelled, startled. After a second of looking between the two of them he giggled lightly and nodded. “Y-yeah… I guess it’s been a long time coming.”
“Like you have anywhere to say anything!” Haru blushed, biting his lip. “You and Gokudera have been making eyes at each other since before I was transferred here! If anything, it should have happened between you two a long time ago!”
The four of them fell silent, eating quietly until Ryohei finally got out to meet with them.
