Sigh...
Thankfully I have found a long, absorbing, fascinating fan fiction to start reading, I just wish I thought it was long enough to keep me occupied for a week. Depending on how the pre-op testing and measuring goes they are talking about me having cataract surgery on my left eye a week from Weds. Yeah, I know I've mentioned it but, you know; until it gets right in front of you its not really real. I already haven't had more than 6 hours of sleep (normal is 9 - 10) in 3 days. I kinda only expected that to happen Sunday night. I was surprisingly consoled by a friends reaction to the idea of cataract surgery. His "No way! I'd rather go blind." is EXACTLY what I said when I was about his age and my mother had cataract surgery. And DESPITE my own freak-out, I had the same certainty my mother did for me that when it happens he will change his mind. LOL!
