The commute to work this morning was surreal. This is the first time I've ever been in New York on September 11th. Today is the 5 year anniversary of the attacks. I could see the sadness in people's eyes, they were definitely remembering. As I was passing St. Patrick's cathedral on my way to work, the bells started chiming at the exact time the first plane hit the World Trade Center. I just wanted to cry. The world feels like a much darker place since then.
