When it rains...
All I have to say is WHAAATT??? After my cabaret (which went very well btw) I got some extra work on MTV's "Yo Momma" which I'd never even seen. Let me tell you it was the dumbest thing ever. And they don't really go by union rules so they made us work two hours more than they said we would and we did not gt paid any extra and were assholes to all the extras. Never work for MTV thats all I'm saying. I didn't get to leave til almost 2 am and didn't get home til after 3. Riding the subway that late is no good. I was so scared this crazy crackhead was gonna stab me. But thankfully I got home ok. I slept til about 1:30 pm. Ha.
After I got up I got a call from Grant Wilfrey Casting, which I have sent my headshot and resume to for various things, about a million times. They were calling to ask if I'd be interested and available to work as IDINA MENZEL's double for her new movie. WHAT?! Gimme a break! But then they started asaking for my measurements and I was like, ha they're not gonna use me cuz we are definitely not the same size. But we'll see, they just said they'd call me later this week if it was a good match. Oh well, maybe they'll ask me to be an extra at least.
Then not 20 minutes later, I get a call from Theaterworks asking is if I can come in for an audition next week for one of their touring shows. Random! I am very excited because you can get your Equity card working on one of their shows. I have a voice lesson tomorrow so I will work on my audition song with my coach. Aah! Send me some good vibes for this job!
