Hello. I just woke up about 20 minutes ago. I stayed up talking to an old buddy from driver's ed. Even though during driver's ed - I never talked to him ha. He's nice. Anyway, I went in for a job interview at the Ocean's Edge, and this guy says to Jessica and I, "You're both 17 right?" and I'm like almost... in October and he's like well I need a work permit from you before I can talk to you about the job. WHAT THE FUCK. No he doesn't, on the Maine Gov website it says people UNDER 16, I'm not under sixteen. If it applied to 16-year-olds, it would've said If you're 16 and under. But no - it said under sixteen. I mean, of course I knew it would only be Jessica who go the job. The guys like - well get that permit and then I can talk to you about it. I was like fuck this. Now Jessica gets to go in today and "see what the job is like" and she gets fucking paid for it. What bullshit. And then - to top things off, Hannaford sends me something in the mail and their needs aren't searching for what fills my interest. Fuck them too. I applied there before when I was 14 and they called me in for 2 interviews and I assumed I was going to get it, then the bitch goes on vacation and never calls again. Hannaford is a bunch of shit anyway. I only like Tara Lee & Ben who work there. I swear - if I go into one more store and people can't asy Hi, How are you? or at least Have a nice day, I'm going to fucking flip. I mean, half the time they can't even tell me what my total is. It pisses me off, just because there's more technology in the store doesn't mean that you lose your manners. I just end up getting pissed and yelling HAVE A NICE DAY TO YOU TOO as I walk out the door. I don't care if everyone thinks I'm a bitch. Get some fucking manners. I'm never going to get a god damn job, because in this hick town if you're not from here - then no one likes you. 'Cause I agree with this 100%, I've applied to all these stores and places in town and then when I haven't heard from them, I go in 3 months later, and they have new people there. I mean, come on now, will it kill you to call someone and say no we've hired people or no, we're not hiring. Instead of making me wait. I HATE MAINE SO MUCH.
I've never hated anything more. I miss CT, if I lived there I would probably most definitely have a job because they have MORE THAN 1 god damn Dairy Queen on the same road. Jesus. And, I could walk to WalMart from where I lived. I fucking hate Maine. With a passion.
