Working from home

Oct 06, 2009 09:54

You know what is especially nice? Sitting at my desk with my nice cup of coffee, loking out the window and watching the teenagers from the college running up and down the playing field in the rain. Sometimes they do the thing with running through tyres, and pushups in the mud. It always makes me smile, evil old crone that I am.

Oh god girl, I've been doing this for two years! (Has it been so long? Shame on me...)

I do admin/Pa/website/marketing/event management/accounts/anything else you can think of, for a trade association. 4 days a week from my guestroom which is now sort of an office. It's MEGA busy at the moment as we have our major trade fair next weekend which I'm knee deep in organising, but it's really enjoyable as well. Plus I like to have the tv on in the afternoon half watching star trek whilst I do my thing!

You trekkie you!! :P This is soooooo cool, I dunno about you but I luv marketing, all if it is so diversified and website too? Very fun, if you are anything like me, you love those burst of work when preparing for an event, it's like a project, a goal and it feels so great when the event takes place and you can see every little bit you did all falling into place. Congrats sweety, everyone should have a fun job durn it or at least do something they love. I want to know if you have gotten into True Blood yet!!

Love true blood - I read all the books before it was on the tv. We're only on season 1 here so far, I think.
