Gardening
I am still really enjoying gardening on my deck outside my apartment. I had been worried that I wouldn't do well at it, that I would neglect my little seedlings and that they wouldn't flourish. I have almost become obsessed with my pots, checking on them, watering them, or just looking at them. I love going out and smelling my herbs, they smell fantastic and look beautiful. The plants that I'm growing from seed (zucchini and sugar snap peas) are just starting to sprout up and this is so exciting.
My strawberries are my favorite! I bought a package of 6 plants and set them up in my bright blue strawberry pot. The little white flowers that previously decorated my pot have turned into little strawberry bud-lets. They're little proto-strawberries! I have so many ideas of sweet deserts that I could create and the idea of eating food that I've grown is intensely satisfying.
