Day 11 - A show that disappointed you.

HEROES.

The first season was so brilliant, and then it dissolved into a giant puddle of inanity. Plot became nonsense, characters became ciphers...one huge, frustrating mess :-(

And it could have been awesome...

I can't think of another show that went from brilliant to WTF so fast. I stuck it out until the end but it was painful

It was so sad because the potential was huge.

I've never watched that one. There have been a lot of shows that people have raved about, but I watch them and really can't see the love.

If was going to recommend this series, I'd say stop after series one, and pretend the rest didn't happen!

Mind you, I'm very aware my tastes are a bit out there, so I'm always pleasantly surprised if anyone agrees with me when I say I like a show!

So there. I might like to think of Torchwood and Primeval as having ended before their second season finales, but at least I enjoyed most of their second seasons. I hated Heroes second season opener.

It's absolutely true. Heroes got very bad by the 3rd season. I haven't finished it yet because I couldn't bring myself to.
