It was supposed to be a standalone ficlet, but the plotbunnies wouldn't leave me alone - so here's part two...and yes there's probably going to be a part three and four! It's still a PG13 rating, but that may rise in later chapters.

Oh, a cliffy! I still have no clue as to this show's plot of characters, but the story is easy enough to follow anyway, even if I have a few questions.

Who's Pearl? what do the bracelet and rings do? what does Damon have to do with Elena's mom?

Questions: Pearl is a vampire who was stuck in tomb for over a hundred years (thanks to Stefan. The bracelet has vervain in it, which protects humans from vampires to a certain degree, and the rings are mystical magic things that nobody knows anything about!

Wow, this is great.
Perfectly continuing the plot and I really like the growing closeness of Damon and Elena.
First I was confused why Jeremy would attack Stefan and not Damon, but Stefan had taken down Vickie, that's why, right?
Looking forward to the next chapter... finally a story where Elena gets turned (I hope).
