Being Human - finale reaction post!

OMG! That was brilliant!

I'm a bit speechless, that's how brilliant it was. From Mitchell's bloody entrance, to Tully's scratched warning in the skirting board. Kemp's wild madness and Llyods pervy cowardliness, and Lucy's delusions of salvation. Annie being pulled through the 'door', and Mitchell subsequent doubling over from the pain of it - and then him being pulled back from the metaphorical abyss by George when he wants to kill Kemp. The whole thing was beautifully done.

But it's the last fifteen minutes that totally made it.I thought it would be a gentle round up of the series, but it was quite the opposite.

Nina's guilt and anger was exactly how I pictured it would be. This is not her first go around with brutality, and her gut reaction, when Lucy turns up at the door of their hideaway, was pitch perfect. "Why is down to the victims to do the right thing?" she asks, as Mitchell pleads for mercy for her.

And just while you're trying to figure what Lucy is up to, Kemp turns up and kills her! This entire scene in which Annie comes back, snatches Kemp and saves Nina, is wonderful, and the tearful scene as she communicates with George and Mitchell through the TV screen is just - gah! I also really liked the rephrased echoing of the words George used in his first meeting with Mitchell, and the end of season one. "What happens now, Mitchell? What do we do?"

Also, the closing scene - Herrick is back!!!!! Brought back by the crazy canteen lady vampire. Have you ever noticed that whenever Mitchell shows mercy, it comes back to bite him in the arse?

Wonderful!

Next season, please?

P.S. Yes, I fully realise that this post must sound absolutely bonkers to anyone not familiar with this show! This only means that you should endeavour to watch it immediately :-P
