Torchwood: Children of Earth (Day 1)
Torchwood Spoilers
* Jack is a a dad (Alice) - and a grandad! (The grandson - Steven - calls him 'Uncle Jack' and doesn't know.)
* Martha is on her honeymoon!
* Ianto has a sister and is an uncle (niece and nephew - Mica and David)!
* Gwen is pregnant (three weeks)!
* Jack and Torchwwood have been blown up!
* ...oh, and the aliens are coming....
* And [yet another] secret government is in cahoots with them!
ETA: And as I'm mulling over this episode, I can't help but think what Torchwood was really lacking, until now, was a proper season and character story arc. For the first time ever, I felt like I was watching telly for big people. Not that I didn't enjoy Torchwood before now, but I definitely felt it has geared up a level.
