I confess I can't put much value on a review of my fic which claims the story is about something entirely different to its actual plot, thus proving the reviewer didn't bother reading more than the first few paragraphs of the fic. If they can't stand to read the whole fic then they should just not review it at all.

Well, you know what they say, you can't please all of the people all of the time, and if they didn't read all of the story, you really don't have to take them seriously.

[Grins] I doubt any of my fic will win anything, my stories don't appeal that way - but I'm happy that it has given me the opportunity to read an actual review of my work, rather than the usual feedback (although feedback is like chocolate and ice cream, and all things nice!)

Eh, I'm glad to've got the nom for one listfic of mine, but I'm up against two humdingers of wishfulaces' and another personal favourite, so I don't much fancy my chances; let cot_tossed ravage it as zie may. My writing skills are still a WIP.

Writing skills are eternally a WIP. Which is a good thing, really. Otherwise, it'd be terribly boring!

I don't expect to win in my category - I'm up against a couple of fics that are favourites of mine that I would recommend over my own any day. Still, I'm hoping that cot_tossed will review my fic, just because I rarely get honest, critical reviews.
