tygermama To celebrate International Women's Day, name a woman in one of my fandoms and I will attempt a drabble about her.
If you give me a keyword or lyric, I will use it if it sparks something for me.
Fandoms: Many and various, and I'll even throw in a crossover if you want :-P
Methos sighed, he was so buggered. So much for helping out a friend. “I have a perfectly reasonable explanation for this," he said meekly as he raised his hands into the air
The UNIT soldier aimed his gun. “Save it," he said. "I know all about you"
Methos's eyes narrowed. "Is that so," he purred. "Let me guess - Martha Jones?"
"I'll be the one asking the questions," the UNIT officer said tartly. "You just keep your hands up where I can see them and kick that sword in my direction."

“Well, have you got him yet?” Amanda's voice asked impatiently through Martha's earbud.
Martha smirked as a familiar figure was marched out of the country home. “That would be a yes.”
“Just remember, he always has a back up plan,” Amanda said.
“Oh, trust me, I’m well acquainted with Methos’s back up plans,” Martha said lowly, as they approached. “Sergeant,” she said, as they came to a halt. “I see you've found our culprit.”
“Right where you said he'd be, ma'am,” he said, “He even had this!” He raised Methos's Ivanhoe aloft with a grunt.
“I think it's safe to say we've got him bang up to rights,” Martha said breezily.
“Oh yes,” Methos drawled.”I’ve no doubt you dotted all your Is and crossed your Ts.”
“Martha gave him a dazzling smile. “Don’t worry, Mr Pierson, your solictor will be waiting for you at the base!”
“My Sol-” He closed his eyes. “Let me guess - tall, brunette, and really, really irritating.”
“Oh, I’m going to make him pay for that,” Amanda said into her ear.

“It wasn’t me Guv’ner,” Methos said lightly, as Amanda entered the cell. “And we both bloody well know it.”
“Well, you know how it is, darling,” Amanda said, as she sat. “One moment you’re minding your own business, hunting down an immortal, and the next, you’re embroiled in an international incident and don’t know when to quit.”
“I’m sure I don’t even know what you’re talking about,” Methos said primly
“Right, so the fact you were found rifling through Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart’s drawers a mere ten hours after he was declared missing was a total coincidence.”
“I don’t know what else it can be.”
“Amanda leaned forward in the chair. “Pull the other one, old man,” she said. “What do you know, and why aren’t you sharing?”
Methos sighed. “Leave it alone, Amanda. It’s not what you think.”
“Adam, you have to help, he’s been abducted and-”
“He’s not been abducted.”
Amanda blinked at him. “What?”
“He’s not been abducted,” Methos repeated. “Think of it as more like a roundabout trip through time and-”
The door slammed against the wall as Martha stormed into the room. “Tell me you’re joking!”
“Blue box, big hair, silly suit,” Methos said, in answer.
“Bloody hell, the brass are going to go spare.”
Amanda’s eyes went from one to the other. “Why do I get the sudden feeling I’m somewhat out of the loop.”
“Do you want to tell her or shall I?” Methos asked, smirking as he leaned back in his chair.
Martha groaned. “Do I have to?”
Amanda glared at the both of them “Are you telling me you two have been keeping secrets from me?”
Methos began to laugh as Martha turned and stalked out of the room.
“Hey, where do you think you’re going?” Amanda called after her.
“I do believe she may be retrieving a copy of the official secrets act’” Methos said wryly. “I’d get your pen ready, you’re in for a treat.”
