strange dreams!

So there is this recurring dream I keep having about driving. It starts off as me and someone else (unknown) chatting in the car, driving over a bridge over a large body of water. The road then turns straight up into a 90 degree angle and we have to drive completely vertical to the top, and I'm always scared, but it always works. Then we have to drive back down vertically, again I'm scared but the tires always hold. I searched some keywords of this and apparently a lot of other people are having this same dream, even including the body of water and unrecognizable passenger. Apparently it means my conscious and subconscious are separated, and the things my conscious tells me are impossible, my subconscious knows I can do it. It makes a lot of sense considering I'm a student and frequently put into learning situations.

Last night I had the same dream almost - we were driving the car, and as the road curved around to the left, it became vertical again, except this time sideways, so still moving forward but not straight up. I wonder if the meaning is still the same, since things going straight up and down does have some level of significance.

I remember first having the driving straight up dream when I was little, and I never actually drove over the hump but got out of the car and stood on the bridge over the water, which was only a couple inches on top of the water instead of supported higher up. When I tried to walk the bridge instead of driving, it was like a mirage, like when you think you see a puddle of water in the street on a hot day, but get closer and it doesn't exist. The bridge disappeared and left only small platforms that were hundreds of yards apart, impossible to get to.

It's been probably two months since my last flying dream, which have been increasing in frequency over the past few years. At first, when I was maybe 8 or 10, the dreams would involve me flying in some sort of airplane, but very small and built for one person. Now I fly on my own, and with every dream my ability feels stronger. It gets easier to lift off every time. The strange part is, the location of flying dreams is ALWAYS in the backyard of my grandma's house, which is pretty big on its own, but in the dreams the size of it is multiplied, and the forest behind it is still there and very thick (recently they cut down the trees to build an apartment complex or something, idk) Anyway, flying dreams are very much my favorite.
