this is one occasion i will "lower" myself to your level so to "respond" to whatever craps for those who had gut to write and yet do not have one to reveal your identidy...not only for my sake but for the sake of my friends who bothered to respond to you...i owe them at least this one...

I think the time would have been better spent on Amy.

yes, i admit, amy came into my life as an "impulse buy"...i did not consider all factors...but we are human and we do make mistakes...we learn from them and we move on...

Good. You're starting to learn. You realized that Amy was an impusle buy. But you should have learned to take responsiblities instead of pushing a 7 year old dog to another person no matter how much criteria you have set on the new owners.

Just like Amy will never understand why she was treated well for 7 years and them pushed to someone else. You can state all your reasons. Your friends can all support your decision.

Of course Amy does not understand, she is a dog afterall as much as her being treated as a member of the family. Likewise she will never understand why, when she is asked to go inside the crate in the morning when we go out. Like small children when being told to do things that they may not like, e.g. Drink water when its not their favoirite drink or go to bed when it is their bedtime when all they like is to play, but parents who should know what is best for them, will have to make those decisions for them and make sure they are carried thru for their good. Likewise here, I know my dog and I know what is best for her. So who are you to judge? What gives you the rights? Be careful for what goes around, comes around.
