Sorry about the panicked cry at 1am for help but... HELP!
I've had an
Averatec 3360 for about 2 years now and I LOVE it. The cramped keyboard they complain about? Perfect for my tiny hands. It does exactly what I need it to without any icky complicated stuff. But just lately, I started having some problems (as to be expected from a 2-year old laptop maybe?).
In any case, everything was dealable and I was thinking of maybe upgraded if I did make it into JET and back to Japan. But tonight I majorally fucked it up! My "n" key popped off and when I tried to pop it back on, the little rubber button part came off too! Now it won't work at all! I don't know what to do! I plan on calling the repair place tomorrow, but please, any advice you'd have would be great!
Also, if you would recommend any new systems, that would also be wonderful. I really do love the averatec and think I may want to stick with them but I'm not sure. I don't game so my needs are basic: lots of memory for my music, good sound, a good DVD player/burner, built in (easy to use) wifi, a good office suite, and good net-surfing capabilities. I like the small keyboard and want something little, simple, and highly portable. Basically I want exactly what I have now except for with a louder volume and more memory. Any ideas???
