So....
Wow. So, I just read an article about the decline of lj (in regards to the news that it's moving completely to Russia), which made me realize I've had my journal since 2004. Eight years later, and it's still here. Rarely updated anymore, it's true, but still here.
Of course, I have a permanent account and I damn will get my money's worth out of it!
Though, honestly, I think I already have. ♥
I'm vaguely considering getting a tumblr, if only to follow some of my friends around here, but it's really just a whim. I don't care for the way tumblr works, and certainly don't care to clutter my life with another blog when I barely use this one.
I miss having all sorts of fascinating things to post about. I haven't been involved in any fandoms lately, and don't have any fanworks to share. Back to living in the US, so no fascinating travel news or pictures. In addition, I spend a lot of time working or running around trying to juggle my real life, so I have a lot less time for the interwebs than I did in Japan. Though I did do a few interesting things: Last week, I attended NYC Comicon! I cosplayed Black Widow and Wonder Woman, spent way too much money, and got an autograph from Peter S. Beagle! Then, this weekend, I'll be attending a Ren-Faire with my friends.
So, it's not all crap I guess. Hi to all of you still out there in LJ world. I miss you!!
