Thank you very much. I had hoped to tell a story that was respectful and fair to all sides, while striving to not excuse the horrible injustices that were done. I'm very happy you enjoyed it.

While I don't have any future stories planned in this universe, I won't completely rule out the idea of re-visiting it for a companion piece should the inspiration strike. Mostly, I wanted it to be open for other imaginations to muck about in at will.

That said, if you're interested, here are some of my general thoughts as to the general state of the rest of the world after the war:

In the absence of Canada and America, Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil emerge as the dominant powers in the western hemisphere.

The UK is broken. Scotland declares independence and renews the Auld Alliance with France. Wales and England remain in union however.

France, due to military and economic strengths, becomes the dominant power in Europe. The Nordic nations, however, continue to distance themselves from Europe, so this doesn't include them (or eastern Europe for that matter).

China is the main power in Asia. Korea is re-unified but severely drained economically, and very much reliant upon China as it rebuilds.

Japan becomes isolationist again. He's slowly dying as his population continues to shrink, but he's made his peace with this.
