I liked Deidara... but not as much as to become a total fangirl. Sasuke, on the other hand, I can't stand. He really needs to get his arse kicked. Badly.
I agree with Hidan though *stifles an embarrassing fangirl squee* he has been one of my favourite characters since he first showed up in the manga and seeing him animated as made me fall in love with him all over again. Even if he somehow resurrects himself and goes after Shika in some weird revenge thing, I'll still root for him :)

Sasuke's motivations piss me off, especially in the latest manga. He's a whiny little brat, convinced he has it SO much worse off than anyone else. Yeah, sucks having your whole frickin' CLAN massacred by your big brother... but look at what's happened to some of the other characters! Like Kakashi says, everyone he's ever cared about is already dead. Sasuke is not the unique and beautiful snowflake he seems to think he is. >_< And knowing his brother wanted to save Konoha and still turning against it, despite the fact most of the people are innocent?! I HATE that sort of spoiled, selfish, bratty thinking!! *kicks him*
