Oh lord, so bored... I knew I should have been less productive at work yesterday. I don't even want to think about what I'm going to be able to find to do tomorrow

Mm.. can't say as I have. Could try that. At the very least, checking out the community will give me something to do.
Honestly, I really wish I could write. Occassionally I'll get out a drabble or very short piece, but I have ideas that would make great long stories. I'll even write out brainstorm sheets for them, listing the plot points and scenes and maybe even a quote or two, but when I try to flesh them out, I go completly blank! I can't these teeny tiny pieces (less than a paragraph most of the time) to link up into an actual story.
God I hope not. I've already googled Kosovo (I like to stay abreast of the situation there), the interior of lighthouses (curiousity), and Asuka, Japan (nostalgia). That's not counting clicking on random articles in the news. At least I'm well-informed!
Maybe some writing excercises would help you?
Maybe. I have a lots of bits and pieces I'd like to make more out of. (Thanks for the compliment by the way!) Part of why I love rping so much is that it's a great way to get writing. With someone on the other side, you don't have to worry so much about writer's block or the flow.
I'm addicted to good rps. ^__^ They're just so much fun! You've got to really get them going though. If you don't have other people who are into it as well, it pretty much just falls flat.
I did join the grub street community, although I haven't had the chance to really do anything with that yet. But I was thinking maybe people there could give me some writing types.
Also, I will totally stalk that community if you manage to get the "Abandoned Ships" slot *purrs* Excellent.. I'm stalking the name. As soon as it's deleted, I shall pounce!
