Unfortunately, it is not a link. :(
After successfully defending my thesis this past May, I submitted my thesis for approval to the school. In July, I received corrections from my reviewer (which were mainly corrections for formatting; I discovered later, I have lots of typos! XD) and then resubmitted my thesis. At the end of August, I received confirmation that indeed my thesis had been accepted as I had officially graduated with a Masters degree in Communication from the University of Massachusetts. I was told that my thesis would be available in the university's database once all the theses for that period were reviewed. So, the only thing that is keeping me from posting a link here is that.
For anyone following this journal and curious, I have indeed continued to go on to a Ph.D. program, but not at the same university. I am now in California, pursuing a Ph.D. in Cultural Studies. My research interests have shifted, but Japanese popular culture will always been a main interest of mine (and Johnny's continues to be a favorite hobby).
Again, thanks to all who supported and were interested in my endeavor that is partly documented in this journal. :)
