I got a call that my furniture is in, two weeks early. Which is a good thing. But it does mean I need to pack up my books and movies and disassemble my old flat-pack bookcases. I was planning to start next weekend at a leisurely pace. Oh well.
I hope I haven't done something foolish by scheduling delivery for a week from tomorrow. It means I don't have to take time off from work to take the delivery, and that I won't feel rushed and can do a good inspection of the pieces -- something that got smacked into me a couple of weeks ago. On the other hand, it does mean I'll be without easy access to my stuff for a week, and if there's something wrong even longer.
Of course, I suppose having it delivered sooner wouldn't make it less likely for something to be wrong. So maybe it's not foolish, just of mixed convenience.
So, I guess I need to go start packing stuff up.
