Fireworks, Beer, Pizza, a Movie, and One Hell of a Walk!

So I woke up today and wasn't particularly proud of my eating habits.  I started the day with a burger and fries at Culver's.  Then my Mother and I looked at some houses in Trenton.  Afterwards, I did some laundry and surfing the net until Denis came to get me for the Gibraltar fireworks.  They were extra good last night.  We had nice close seats

Sounds like you had fun! I don't think you're crazy for walking at all....I'm proud of you! But I don't understand why you took such a convoluted route. Wouldn't it have been shorter to take a bit more of a direct route?
Walking is just about the only exercise I ever get, and I actually enjoy it. I say it's better than nothing! Though I did swim & play some volleyball & soccer on the 3rd & 4th. We were in Monroe. My in-laws have a cottage down there, and we pitched a tent & spent the night after watching the fireworks there Tuesday night.

Remember my friend Blind Jennie (who had corrective surgery a few years ago and is no longer legally blind)? She remembered you, asked if you were still with Bethany. We got together for the first time in over a decade a couple of weeks ago. She lives not too far from you, near Dix & Goddard. Really not far from Robert Pouget, either. Maybe next time I come down to see her we could look you up. Her fiance is a nice guy, LOVES pizza, & has the same perverted sense of humor as the rest of us. The first time I talked to him, she had put him on the phone to give me directions. When he told me to "get off on Dix", I couldn't help myself from bursting out laughing, which cracked him up too. Now it's our running joke. :~)

Yep...and after I did so, I called back to find out the rest of the directions. He asked where I was, and I told him that I had gotten off on Dix, and it was quite a ride. He asked if I managed to stay between the lines, LOL!
He also told me that Jennie used to live "on Dix & Champaign". ROFL, there is also a Breast street in the area. Those downriver people really are pervs!
