GR - Drafting #1
Today's progress
While HS is in DW's inbox, ready to be slashed to pieces, I started GR today. I had already brainstormed the idea that writing came fairly easy. I still need to research from time to time but it's alright. I know I will be throwing away most of 500 words I wrote today anyway.
For now, the climax seems a bit too weak and the opponent doesn't seem that strong--not enough impact?
The angle I have seems okay, on the other hand, but I will have to finish the half point of the first draft before I decide whether to continue this route or not...which is what I did with HS. I can't seem to grasp the concept until I have done some writing.
I will consider next 1500 words as a free writing and see how it goes. So long as the theme survives, it should be alright.
Of course, I will have to be careful not to spend too much time writing this weekend; already got piles of work around the house to do..starting with washroom cleaning. yuk.
I am just happy that I somehow managed to get my lazy butt--I really wanted to take a break since I just 'finished' a story--and spend 1+ hours on writing. Good habits are hard to come by, sigh.
