"Only For Employess"
Hello, hello. I'm sure that everyone has been anticipating the next time Jess makes one of her infamous "random picture" posts, and this is just for you.
There are many secrets to 7Eleven, but not many people spend enough time there to appreciate these hidden treasures. I'm referring to the things that keep me going throughout the day and keep me from slitting my wrists with the box cutter.
Depending on which store you're currently working at, the attactions and oddities change. Up first, is my charming coworker, Sanjita. She's hyper, she's funny, and she comes up with some of the most original English phrases I've ever heard, including "crazy for me", "the Sam", and "heavy fun".
Another quaint feature of the 7Eleven franchise are the delicious treats offered. The latest in this line of succulent sweets are giant oreo cakes, which are filled with cream. I personally tried these myself, and they are quite satisfying.
Then of course, there's the roller grills...of DOOM.
The reason for this moniker is because they house some of the most vile things on the planet...Big Bites©. The only way these things are worse than when they're on the roller grill, is when they're RAW.
But it's not all bad. I can always entertain myself when Sam's not there by reading quality newspapers, such as the Delaware News Journal.
Or I can endanger myself on a ladder putting up posters if Sam is there.
We are proud to bring you the leading items in popular culture, like DVDs and video games. Sadly, nestled between these fine tobacco products, we only have a few bad movies and a single copy of Halo.
Sometimes, when a fad hits it's peak, it begins to fall in popularity immediately afterward. That's when we relegate these items to floor level shelves behind the counter, obscured by boxes of Red Man Tobacco.
Sometimes, my friends come to visit me. But apparantly we have a store policy against that.
But most of the time, I just sit around and laugh at various signs in the store:
I still want to know who was responsible for this one.
And my personal favorite...
Riiiiight.
