Do It For SnuggleBeagle!

You asked for it, and here it is.  Back by popular demand, it's...

Jess's Livejournal

It's been almost a week since my last incoherent bout of rambling, and apparantly, some people like it because they asked me specifically to update.  And, well, I hate to disappoint fans.

Right now the computer is doing this weird thing where text on webpages looks about three times the normal size, so I kind of feel like Mario in Giant World right now.  But, what I've been up to.

Last weekend I accompanied the Andersons to Mike and Billie's wedding up in North Jersey.  It was a nice ceremony and everyone looked awesome, including Josh (who was a groomsman) and Katie (who was a flower girl).  The reception was a good time, and many laughs were had.  I spoke with just about all of the UD crew throughout the weekend, and I even got a phone call from the one and only James Matthew.  Exciting.

Meghan's birthday was also this past weekend, so I'd like to give a shout out to that.  Palabra!

Sunday I got home and then hit up the Linwood fireworks with Juls, Meg, and Erin, and then we stopped by the Burlands for some of the Moistest Cake We'd Ever Tasted and then it was off to Zest.  Apparantly Julie got "food poisioning" from the cole slaw.

Tuesday I got up early and drove down to Seaford to visit Matt, which was a fun time.  He was house sitting for his aunt and uncle, so I got to see their house, swim in their pool and hottub, eat their food, and meet their two cute shelties: Fuzzy and Rascal.  They did have this unnerving habit of contantly staring at us though.  First was swimming and stuff, and then we dried off and headed to the Salsbury mall to do some shopping.  I was sad because there's way too much stuff I want and I don't have enough money to get it all. :( But anyway, we had fun and ate some pizza and boardwalk fries for "lunch" (it was like 4pm by this point).  Then we came back to the house and hung out for the next five hours: watching tv, playing with the dogs, fighting over the massage chair, arguing over whose sandwich was bigger (mine).  At 10, I finally left for a fun and relaxing drive home, where I wrote in my paper journal for the first time since move out day at college.

Yesterday I woke up to go to work 7-3, and then visited Meg for a bit since she didn't feel well.  We watched Beauty and the Geek, where there was a BK twin, and then Dancing with the Stars, where Sam of GH fame won with her hunky Russian partner, some Full House, where DJ saves Kimmy at a "frat party" (where they serve you h'ordurves and there's actually room to breathe...and all the guys are gentlemen who wear sweater vests), and finally Made: Girly Girl, where we laughed at the manly girl and her troubles. I went through a similar phase too, only without basketball shorts and when I was ten.

Today was more work 7-3, and I felt really crappy for about an hour and a half right in the middle of the day.  Was quite envious of Junior, who can putz around and do as he pleases, but I'm stuck everytime I hear that annoying "ding-ding" of a customer coming in.  Anyway, after work Meg called to see if I wanted to join her at Panera for dinner.  I did, and it was delish.  Afterward we came back to my house for a bit and I got her hooked on Neighborhoodies as well.  I made up a wish list the other day, and it's going to be quite expensive, so I need to work work work!  Anyway, so then we fired up the Nintendo for some good clean....what am I talking about? We played Mario Tennis, the game notorious for making Meghan curse like a sailor.  This time there was grunting, growling, and outbursts of "SnuggleBeagle".  We finally went to hang out with her cousin around 10, and we caught up on GH we'd missed today and I cuddled with SnuggleBeagle himself.

Okay, work again tomorrow at 7, so going to head upstairs.  Hopefully this is enough, Meg and Chels. ;)
