Places I Remember
So I'm going to be moving soon.
Was feeling a bit wistful and like I was in a rut the other day when I was considering that I've lived in my current apartment for 4+ years (a record--no other domicile aside from my parents' house has ever lasted that long). Feels good to be getting into a new place with way, way more room.
I can get a couch! I can get a normal-sized TV! I can get shelves and a kitchen table!
Exciting stuff.
There are a few small drawbacks--will have to get some screens to serve as doors for some doorways that don't have actual 戸 and there's a bit more noise from the main road, but honestly the trade-offs are pretty great.
It's just kinda nice, you know? Feeling like I'm moving upward and onward.
