True Blue Boos
So in retrospect, the party was a success.
Everyone but Shivani ended up coming, meaning we had about 15 people and a shit ton of beer. Most of which got drunk.

Fewer peeps than my last going away shin-dig, but still a great, great time.
The food was delicious and devoured, people brought great desserts (cake pops and vegan cupcakes ftw!) and peeps hung out both in and outside until the wee hours of the morning. I passed off that box of swords I've been stressing out over to Kris, who was quite happily surprised when she eventually got home and cracked it open. I find it hilarious that she took the night bus back from Spring Garden with a giant box labeled "SWORDS, SNAKESKIN."
Hope everyone had as great a time as I did.
Today I spent the day gathering up stuff I need for Japan and packing. Got word of an apartment, and though it's tiny and a studio, I'm going to be there for less than a year and it's got a great location (my entire commute is a five minute walk, a six minute train ride, and finally a ten minute walk--if I decide to bike, I could do the whole shebang in like fifteen minutes). Plus it's fully furnished and I only have to put out 8,000 yen for a bedding set, which is pretty cheap, and the rent is much lower than I'd anticipated.
This evening I hit up good old 109 to see Meg, and it was a glorious time. There was Bruster's, and drive-thru windows, and wasting of cheese, and leftover beer from my party, and horrible pictures, and talk of Lils, and shameful video that no eyes besides ours will see, and Little Buddy. Love that boo.
Love all my boos, to be honest.
Tomorrow is LOTS more packing plus a visit to Uncle T and Auntie Skinner's so that I can help Kate finally beat that one boss in KH2.
