Weird, Weird Dreams
I meant to get up at 8 this morning, but I went to the bathroom and collapsed back into bed instead. Also, according to my McDonald's Pokemon Calendar, today is "Hamburger Day." I don't know if that's just a マック thing, or if it's a legit holiday (I doubt it) but it's kind of hilarious that it's on my calendar. I'll have to stop for a burger sometime today I guess.
Going to head down to Meg's in about an hour so I'll arrive around 1:30 and only have a few hours to kill until she gets off work. Taking a book to read while sitting around if I want, or I may hit up a museum or something in the meantime.
Anyway, I had the weirdest dream this morning after I failed to get up at 8. One of my cousins was getting married in Portland, Oregon, and we were all staying at this huge hotel that was super duper nice. I had a room all to myself for some reason, where there was a genkan, an area with two double beds, a hallway lined to the right with two western-style bathtubs behind sheer curtains, and at the end was a huge Japanese-style bathroom with gigantic windows that had a beautiful view of the Pacific ocean and the horizon. (This is really strange, as Portland is not on the coast.) In the dream, I was so amazed with this hotel room that I wanted to take video footage of it, but my sister and cousins kept just coming into the room and ruining my shot. I remember sometimes confusing the hotel and thinking it was in Osaka, too. So bizarre.
