There's some people around the neighborhood setting off some residual 4th of July fireworks, so it sort of feels like an accidental 七夕 celebration.

Hung out today in Meg's pool, which was pretty bitchin'. Love that girlfriend. She so mah boo.
Oh man. My CoE should be coming in this week so I can pick a day to go up to NYC and get my visa taken care of, and soon I should hear about placement. Watched one of the Tokyo House Hunters International episodes, and while I got annoyed by the stupid doughy Canadian white boy with his super hot Japanese girlfriend and his shitty Japanese (despite living in the country for five years), I am so pumped. One of the houses they showed was in Kanagawa-ken! Word.
Feeling a little down lately, but that's fine. I'll bounce back pretty quickly. I think the problem is that now I have a glut of time I'm not used to having, so I've gotta rewire how I spend my days.
