Today was my last day at USM. MY LAST DAY!
Though I'm overjoyed to be moving on with my life, it was still bittersweet to leave. So many people came up and wished me the best of luck and told me they'd miss me. Took tons of photos and hugged everyone goodbye, too. Ugh. As much as I love change, it's also never easy.
Therapy went really well too, and got some really good insight as to why that year at Sunflower was so beneficial for me (stuff about "healthy attachment"). We scheduled my last ever session, too, for August 3. It will be really hard to leave Carrie, because she's been so great and has been such a help over the past couple of years, and once I leave, our relationship is permanently over (it'd be weird to go visit your former therapist while home during Christmas). Ah, ありがたいな。 This doubles as a horrible blow too since 8/3 is the anniversary of leaving Sunflower.
Got a bunch of stuff from Interac regarding the new job, so I have a ton of stuff to get done for them this week. Looks like I ended up quitting work at exactly the right time.
Okay, onto more fun, happy topics. Tonight I've got Tiffany's reading at the Dive, which should be fun after I figure out where to park my car (I'm thinking on Front Street again and walking down). Tomorrow is karaoke extravaganza 2.0 followed by a sleepover at Rach's and then a day at the beach. Word.
This weekend will be hella awesome.
