"Why Doesn't Your Dad Just Buy a Train?" says Anna

Apr 07, 2012 11:35

Had a great time last night with Anna, AJ, and Dan. Dinner and beers at the Belgian followed by chocolate butterscotch soft serve at Philly Flavors and then hanging out with them at the apartment. Greg was being sort of a douche, not wanting us to ruin his night with his girlfriend and med school friends. I can understand the impulse, I suppose, but it's still a dick thing to say: "I don't want you around my other, cooler friends." Way to be, Greg.

Lots of editing I gotta get done over the next few days, but I'm not too worried. Like I said before, the major structural changes I made were the hard, time-consuming part, and now that that's over, it's more just tightening up language and deciding if scenes should be extended or preened, and making sure my motifs carry through. Not too difficult.

I'll work on that a little later though. Right now, I just want to be by myself, listening to music and enjoying the weather and feeling nostalgic. Tim doesn't come over till 7:30 tonight, so I got time to do that and get some editing done.

Tomorrow: CANDY.

thesis, writing, sushi queen, friends, weather, food, drinking
