Updating on a Friday?!
Yeah, I know.
There's several good reasons why I take my vacation when I do:
- I get two days off, one for Christmas and one for New Year's Day, so I only have to take 8 days of vacation/personal time instead of 10
- My friends in Japan are on winter break, and therefore have more time to do stuff
- It gives me a big thing to look forward to at Christmastime
- New Year's is a fun time to be in Japan
- Work gets horribly stressful at the end of the year and tensions run high, so I don't want to be there until things settle down again
Today highlighted and underlined that one.
However, the party was fun, and I won a major award!
Tomorrow is the Great Philadelphia Karaoke Adventure. 楽しみ！
