I Am a Lazy, Useless Slob
Except today, because I've finished just about everything I set out to do, in the time it would normally take me to roll out of bed.
Anyway, I finally downloaded the software that came with my camera and so have been able to import the photos I was recently taking. Here's only a couple, but there will be more soon when I feel like resizing them all.
Okay, first up is Pikachu, who I chose as a subject to show how much better this picture is than the last one I took with the old camera (see below). You may notice that the photo is a bit blurry, but this is because I have unsteady hands and is not the camera's fault whatsoever.
Gaze on the improvement!
If you really want to appreciate how awesome the macro mode is though, you need to see this one:
Look at how clear that is! You can even make out the little grooves in the paint of the windowsill! Now compare that with one I took with my old camera:
Yeah. Definite step up.
The thing also takes some pretty sweet video as well, which was a big deal to me.
