Man, I feel old; it's 11pm and I'm feeling really tired.
My busy weekend has turned out (predictably) really fun. Saturday during the day the whole fam went to Kelly's for Chase's first birthday party and we had a grand old time. Grandmom was, as usual, a pretty princess and the rest of us chatted and caught up. It was good to see Uncle Bill and Aunt Cathy again after so long and as usual Aunt Franny, Uncle Tommy and Aunt Skinner were hilarious and fun.
That night Meg, Jenny and I hit up the Neeson household for Timmy's grad party. I got to meet Tim's college friends Chris and...the girl's name escapes me at the moment (no Sarah, sadly). Fred and Kath were there of course and we drank and had a jolly good time reminiscing through the yearbook, almost all the Iggy Freud napkin tales, sassing between Meg and Mon, watching Jimmy be an ornery teenager. The night ended with me spilling beer all over Timmy and pissing him off. Meg and I tried to meet up with Liz at Dexter's, but they left before we got there.
Today the Beasleys went to the Phillies game, which was really fun for the whole hour of game we got. The city skyline looked really cool from the top of the Citizen's Bank center, what with the storm rolling in, bolts of lightning everywhere. Then the deluge came; we waited around for an hour and a half before finally shoving off in the teeming rain. I got back, changed, and headed to Meg's party, which was a grand time as well.
Kris, Megan, Liz, Ashley, Timmy (and roommate Chris), BK, and so on all made awesome appearances. We ate and drank and chatted about all sorts of thing ("Meghan! There's a mosquito in your hair!" "Did she get another abortion?"). I had a great time, frankly, and I will miss that bitch when she's gone. Of course, she'll be much closer than most other people next year, haha. ABCini even stopped by with his really hot nephew to say hi and wish everyone well. Love that C-Dawg.
One of those Apple updates messed up my iTunes so I had to uninstall and re-download the latest version much to my chagrin. More work tomorrow; I have a ton of stuff to do, but as I need money this is fine. I figure that I can pretty much repay Dad in about two weeks now (there will be an extra $100 I owe him but I think he'd rather have $1200 in hand), after which Mom said she'll take out the money to buy me my new camera. And then I'm saving for the iPod nano I want!
end lj-butt.
