Oops! I forgot!
“Wait… Oishi. What day is today?” Eiji asked his doubles partner. They were visiting a club with the seniors for the weekend to unwind from their exams.
“The 28th, why?”
“Oh my gosh! Oishi! Today’s Fuji’s birthday!” Eiji exclaimed. “What time is it?! What time is it Oishi!?” he asked hysterically while looking around for his brown haired best-friend.
“Um... a few minutes before eleven. I can’t believe we forgot his birthday. I feel horrible. Do you think he’ll forgive us?”
“I don’t know, let’s see” Eiji said. He grabbed his boyfriend by the arm and drug him in the area he last saw Fuji. After asking around for his best friend he went to the furthest booth to wish him a ‘Happy Birthday’ and beg forgiveness, when he failed to notice that Tezuka was there.
Dropping in on the couple he shouted, “Happy birthday Fujiko-chan!” bowing his head in apology and scouting closer to his friend he added, “I’m so embarrassed I forgot. Please, please, please forgive me. I’ll make it up to you I promise!”
Oishi rubbed the small of Eiji’s back to calm him down and gain his attention. They probably shouldn’t be interrupting the couple right now and he didn’t want his boyfriend or himself to suffer his captain or tensai’s wrath. A seemingly irritated Tezuka looked up from his position above a very flushed Fuji to an equally red Eiji.
“Fuji celebrates on the 1st of March. Now get out.”
