Fake Vulcan

Before anyone says it, yes, I am aware I'm weird.
Anyway...
Someone began this thread or group or whatever it's technically called, titled "Vulcan Pick Up Lines".
Curious what this meant, I looked and read a few. The purported vulcan posted the line,

"I understand that the most powerful minerals are also generally the most aesthetically pleasing. If the same held true for humans, I expect you would likely be one of the most powerful individuals on this planet."

This has received numerous positive responses, one of them saying that Spock would definitely say that, "I know he would.". I have a little problem with this and I am not about to join the group just to tell them, but I'll share here and it will be our (anyone who cares to read) little secret.

Methinks I've caught a fake vulcan, because Vulcan, if I am not mistaken, are known for their superior logical abilities. In the above statement, there is a logical fallacy.
Given if A, then B, the only thing one can conclude is if not B, then not A, the contrapositive. The purported vulcan makes the conclusion "if B, then A",  the converse, which is not an allowable logical conclusion.

If he is a true vulcan, then he will not make errors in simple logical reasoning.
If he makes errors in simple logical reasoning, then he is not a true vulcan.

He has made an error in simple logical reasoning, therefore methinks he is not a true vulcan.

What is the term humans use for this? "Owned"?
