Dear Gary,
The film festival you have planned for this weekend sounds like a fun activity, complete with vote-taking no less! Kudos to you for finding innovative ways to spend quality time with your
friends on the weekend. You know how to live life to the fullest, because
you understand what truly matters in life
That's quite a significant accomplishment for a shy person like you.
But it is obvious that your heart craves the company of people with whom you
feel comfortable and who enrich your life beyond measure.
I've been meaning to write you a letter just to tell you all the
positive things I see in you and your life-story. I'm so busy with work and
other concerns that I scarely have the time to attend to my daily
responsibilities! But I know you can sense my admiration in our
communications with each other.
You're not the sort of person who allows anything to snuff away the
wind from his sails. You have had your share of challenges (and loneliness),
but you still love people and your heart is continually filled with hope,
optimism, and joy. Is it any wonder that so many people draw strength and
inspiration from your example?
And you are more than a survivor Gary. You are a FLOURISHER in the
journey of life. It is a tribute to your enthusiasm, your intelligence and
ingenuity, and most of all to that beautiful heart with which God has
blessed you.
Your existence in this world fosters happiness, faith, and healing
among so many people. You are a big chunk of what is valuable and meaningful
in my own life, and I am so glad (so grateful) that you are in my heart, and
that I am in yours.
Well, until the day in which I get to write that letter, I send you this
snippet by way of a preview.
Have a lot of fun with your friends at the film screening and do let me
know about it next week.
Thank you my dear angel.
XOXO Pedro
