I'm updating due to popular demand. Also if I haven't seen you recently, I'm sorry and I miss you.
Classes are fantastic. My ankles are alright. I'm glad I have a pass otherwise I wouldn't make it to the end of the day. Its tons of fun working with Rob and Chad wednesday nights.
Arabic is cool. I'm writing paragraphs for homework now. I'll hopefully be taking ARB 102 this summer. So I'll be living in East Lansing at least for July and the beginning of August.
Food Analysis is a lot more interesting and less difficult than I imagined previously.
Food Chemistry Lab is lots of fun and is good practice for Food Chemistry. Food Cem is rather difficult. Just got to focus and study! Easier said then done. World Food, Populations and Poverty is awesome and it confirms that agricultural economics is exactly what I want to do for the rest of my life. Food product development is cool but a lot of work! My group is trying to make blueberry almond tortilla chips and a sweet heat sauce to go with the chips.
I thought living alone would be a lot weirder than it is.
Being a TA is also sweet.
I'm going to Mexico on a Kansas State study abroad. I'll be in Hermosillo (northwestern Mexico) for 3 weeks ish the end of May and beginning of June. I'll be working to set up an MSU study abroad with Sonora and learnign about food processing tech and safety. woohoo
I'm making lots of friends = good. I'm not as social as I thought I would be forced to be. But really thats not that surprising. I adore hanging out with niku, caitlin, greg, hassan, dom, blake, taraz and takur. makes my week. the boys are fabulous. they help to remind me what men can be like. sweet as can be. Greg really got me when he came back to my room after a stroll down the hall. He seemed sad, when asked why he said some girls had seemed afraid of him when he tried to introduce himself. And it just made him so angry that they had to be afraid of him. That is was necessary for girls to be afraid. I love people who dream of what the world could be and then try to make it happen. Here's to a world where no one ever has to be afraid
