Math Really Bites
I really, really, really dislike math. Its evil and I won't believe anybody that says otherwise. If you hadn't already figured it out I had a math exam tonight. It was a ton harder than I originally thought it would be. Oh well, maybe nobody will do well on it and it will be curved a lot.
Since we had the exam today math class was cancelled which was nice. We learned about archaic Homo sapiens today in anthro. We spent a bit of time discussing Neandertals. Did you know that their brains were actually larger than ours are? Well they are, while modern H.sapiens has a brain size of 1450-1500 cc, Neandertals had one of 1600 cc on average. Thats not to say they were more intelligent, just that they had larger brains. It was an interesting lecture.
US history was alright. Nothing to interesting but next week we're going to get into Vietnam which should be cool. Have my second paper due for US history tomorrow. I just finished it about 30 minutes ago. I really shouldn't have put it off since I had that math exam today but I did. Well I think it turned out well, it only had to be 2 pages long. I hope my TA likes it.
The Cardinals really beat the Astros tonight. It was a final score of 12-6. Even if they lose tomorrow night, which I hope they don't, they still win the series. This win also puts them only 1 game out of first place! Rolen is off to an awesome start. That man is just plain good. Edmonds had a good game too. I didn't really get to watch much. Vicky has a big chem exm tomorrow and she needs the quiet but I got to watch the last inning and a half with the tv on mute. I thanled her profusely. I was happy to watch a little of it.
Started a new book since I finished the DaVinci Code. Shades Children is really strange. Lucy suggested it to me and I usually love everything she recommends to me. I also read the Sandman graphic novel she lent to me. It was trippier than some of the others. See I lent her some of my stuff and she lent me some of hers. We kinda trusy each other with this sort of thing. We know that we won't ruin it or anything like that. Well I think thats all for the time being. Later!
