This is the year of Marvel Legends!
If you weren't already aware the big Hasbro news at the NYCC is Marvel Legends returning! While many like the 3 3/4" Marvel Universe figures the real draw of that scale are vehicles/playsets and MU doesn't have any. Unless you count the Galactus and Sentinel. But now Hasbro is switching their focus to bringing 6" figures back!
So with that in mind this week (and last week, heh) I bring you some Marvel Legends and a few Transformers. This week on Ebay we have Cable all decked out to do some future-altering and Spiral with real fur boots. I have to use up my Leadfoot molds so Double Clutch is this week's Transformers. Last week I created a MU style Deadpool done 6" scale and a nifty Renderform-headed Skyfall.
In other news, CHEC YOUR WALMARTS! The Captain America 6" and Thor 6" Marvel legends figures are out and they're exclusive to there. Folks, these figures are what marvel legends should be. The WWII Ultimate cap and Blob series Battle armor Thor are repaints but WOW, we're talking highlights, shading, washes, the entire figure is painted down to the last details. They make the originals seem like dull plastic, which they were really. Snag Loki because he's simply awesome, the movie Thor, Movie Cap, and Sam Jackson Nick Fury for a really good trench coat to use for your customs. They'll run you $14 tho, which is the norm for 6" figures.
Also visit your local Tuesday Morning store, Ross, and TJ Maxx as the 3 3/4" Iron Man final comic wave are ending up there with comic Whiplash and the others.
