This week went by fairly slow, as it was the first week back from Spring Break.
I skipped a lot of classes, especially because I got sick in the middle of it.
I think it might've been ebola. But I've never had it so bad before.
I woke up in the morning and got up to get out (read 'jump out') of bed, and I had the worst stomach pain ever.
The kind of feeling I think you'd feel if someone was to stab you.
Except it felt like.. being stabbed from the inside out.
So of course I just went back to bed...
So that was that.
On Wednesday we celebrated Dub's birthday. Her 21st.
We went to Bennigan's, because it's her favorite place to be.
Then we went to Shannon's who's one my recent faves, and we hung out at her place. Shannon made Katie drinks. hehe. It was a good time. We played Mafia and Tele-Charades. No one believes me, but it's really a GOOD GAME.
On Friday, I went to Econ. Saw a drunk guy at 12 or so, and laughed at him.
It was really funny.
Came back to the dorm and sent off H, because she went home for the weekend.
Then I hung out with KC for the longest time ever. We just chilled on her couch.
Watched basketball.
Chelsea came by with my food- I OWE YOU MONEY DAZZER!!!
After Dazz left I chilled with KC some more. I told her all about my life. Starting with when I was 7 (or so). I don't think she knew what to say, but she listened and cared. That's what really mattered.
Then Heidi came by and we all went to dinner.
After dinner I went to an interview for my summer-job. Good thing it was with Christine! Hehe. It made me nervous, but I got through it alright.
Christine is one of my new faves too. She's really cool. She likes John Denver and riding horses. She wears cowboy hats and creates dance parties :). She's out of control but in a good way.
After the interview I went to soccerzone with KC. We wanted to watch little boys play soccer, but it didn't happen because the coach was dumb and didn't email her the right times. Or.. the changes to the schedule. She's in a Kinesiology classes and she has to do write ups on coaching and whatnot. So I was going to go with her, since she would get bored iwth it after awhile anyhow... But there was no one there so KC drove us back and she emailed the coach from my comp and then she went home.
I watched the ball game and then went to pick up Christine for our hot date. Hehe.
She worked 'til 9.. so I had to wait til then.. but afterwards she drove us to John's.
At John's I got reunited with a couple of people I hadn't seen.. in a week hehehe.
People were playing on the Xboxes. Continuous DDR downstairs, and some sort of shooting game, and a racing game upstairs. Euchre, and various card games, and of course tele-charade. Again.
I saw Rachael there, and that was exciting because I miss her from the trip. She's really cool.
I don't know what she does, but she's married to Andy. Andy and Matt, yes, Shannon's Matt, are brothers.
I thought that was odd, but kind of cool at the same time.
We exchanged numbers so we shall hang out sometime this week.
I talked to Shannon for about.. 2 hours. I guess Friday was just a "Share-my-life" day. It was really good to talk to her, because she's lived a different life from KC. KC's lived more of a.. typical-american life I think. Except for a few details... But I won't get into that here. And.. faith's always been a part of KC. With Shannon.. I think with the things she's gone through.. I felt like I could relate more. Not to say, in anyway that, that discredited anything. But yeah.. talking to Shannon was good, and talking to KC was good too.
So that's Friday.
on Saturday Alayna called and came and visited me. Which was quite exciting. I got to pick out a senior picture. Layna, Allison and I had some Dominoe's and had a good time. They are just goofy, and it's really good to have that around.
Then I went down to Ann Arbor.
Find a place to eat was difficult, but we finally found a place and the pizza was REALLY good. Too bad it took forever.
Then Lindsey, Shel, B, K, and I went to the concert. We missed the opener but at least we got there in time for Ben. I got a shirt! Hooray for that. He was alright throughout the concert. I was losing hope.... Plus the crowd was a little poopy, but he got better towards the end so I guess it's okay.
We got alcohol.
I went over to Katie/Shel/Michelle's for the night, where I actually met Michelle. That was fun. We tried to play this really hard drinking game, but that didn't work out so we played Taboo. I don't even LIKE Taboo. I used to, but not anymore. I don't like Taboo.
In the middle somewhere I shared a Clove with Shelley. Not sure if she likes me, but I think we're alright.
Rest of the night was kind of a bummy night, because Katie was busy with Tim, Shel was with Paul. Brooke was just hanging out.
Brooke went upstairs. I watched TV for a bit.. but then I went and hung out with Katie and Tim.
Katie was continuously falling asleep.. as it was 5 in the morning. We joked around or whatever.. I tried to get her to bed, but she was being stubburn. I fidgeted with her phone like.. the whole night, because apparently, I was in charge of her phone? I don't know. She was drunk. lol.
I didn't drink that much so I was pretty sober. Just like.. that pint, and shots, and a drink.. so not too much.
Anyway.. after Tim and Paul left Katie and Shel went to bed as did Brooke and I.
Drove Brooke back, got to Ally for like 20 seconds. She was really surprised to see me. But, in a good, happy sort of way. That made me happy.
Just.. one of those little things that make your day.
The drive home was horrible. I was like.. falling asleep. Luckily I made it back in one piece. Hung out with Cuz for a bit, and I got back to the dorms around 8ish.
This week I got 7 numbers and gave mine out 8 times. I like how life is going.
It took me almost a whole year, but hey, at least I found my niche somehow.
I love meeting new people, especially when we get along, and they like me.
I guess this week was fairly productive, in a social way. The year is winding down and I am pretty sure I got it together.
